• a heartbuddy story

heartbuddy® sat looking out the window. He wished that one day his family and friends would come to know how he really felt. He was getting tired of not being able to share his true feelings. But how? Everyday heartbuddy® would try to say what he felt in his heart, but it always came out all mixed up.

Like the day he got scared and angry with his best friend, Perry. When Perry told heartbuddy® that he was moving. heartbuddy® wanted to tell his friend that he didn’t want him to go, that he would miss him terribly and that he loved him. Instead heartbuddy® picked a fight with Perry. This made both of them feel bad. Perry moved. heartbuddy® was very sad and lonely. heartbuddy® tried to tell his family how he felt, but nothing came out. heartbuddy® felt the hurt deep inside.

heartbuddy® wanted to find a way to communicate his true feelings But how? What to do?

Heartbuddy® decided to write a letter to his heart.
Dear heart, I just need to write out how i feel inside. This made heartbuddy® feel better. Suddenly heartbuddy® found the answer. heartbuddy® would write a card each time he needed to tell someone how he really felt.

heartbuddy® wrote about his feelings and all the things that happened. As he was writing his cards, heartbuddy® noticed that his heart was hurting less, his anger was now gone.
heartbuddy® wrote:

Hi Perry,
I was really sad when you moved away. I love you and I miss you so much. I am sorry I picked a fight with you. I just didn’t know how to tell you.

This is truly how heartbuddy® came to be. Whenever you feel a hurt deep inside, just write a card and let your friends and family know how you really feel.

When we share our true feelings, it makes us all feel better, loved and happy.
learn to share, show you care.
